NumberingSAF

Product Overview

Streptavidin-FITC is a high-quality fluorescent conjugate supplied in 0.1 M sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide for enhanced stability. This conjugate features an optimized FITC-to-streptavidin labeling ratio, ensuring strong, stable fluorescence while maintaining high biotin-binding activity.

Application
Streptavidin-FITC is excitable by 488 nm light and emits a fluorescence maximum at 520 nm, making it highly suitable for a range of fluorescence-based detection applications. It is commonly used in:

  • Flow Cytometry for detecting biotin-labeled antibodies or other biotinylated molecules

  • Fluorescence Immunoassays (FIA)

  • Immunohistochemical (IHC) staining

This versatile reagent provides reliable and consistent results for avidin/biotin-based detection systems in both research and diagnostic workflows.
